Created in 1995, in partnership with the Mary Pickford Foundation, the Mary Pickford Alumni Award pays tribute to men and women of USC whose extraordinary achievements bring special distinction to the School and to the industry. Past recipients include: Kevin Feige, Brian Grazer, Shonda Rhimes, Jay Roach, and Stacey Sher. Suzanne and Jennifer Todd were honored with the Pickford Alumni Award and Suzanne gave her acceptance speech at the 2017 USC SCA commencement.

USC 90th Anniversary Alumni Conversations Series: Class of 1986, los angeles - 2019

In celebration of the 90th Anniversary of the School of Cinematic Arts, SCA alumni led conversations on stage with fellow alumni whose work they admire or whose careers have inspired them. In this series, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszweski, Jay Roach, Stephen Sommers, and Suzanne Todd had a conversation.

The anniversary event included a Q&A and viewing selected clips. The series celebrates the incredible history of the School through USC’s diverse alumni community, in order to foster unique and entertaining dialogues that will bring alumni back to campus throughout the year.

The 2020 Producers Guild awards

The Producers Guild Awards honor excellence in motion picture and television productions, as well as the most notable names in the industry shaping the producing profession. The Guild’s awards have been established as a bellwether for the Academy Awards, as PGA winners often predict the winners at the Oscars.

The Producers Guild Awards ceremony presented several special honors to Ted Sarandos (Milestone Award); Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner of Plan B (David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures); Marta Kauffman (Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television); Octavia Spencer (Visionary Award); and the Lionsgate film “Bombshell” (The Stanley Kramer Award).

Suzanne served as the 2020 Producers Guild Awards Executive Producer.

CHRYSALIS BUTTERFLY BALL, LOS ANGELES - 2019

The 2019 Chrysalis Butterfly Ball raised $1.5 million to help lift people out of poverty and homelessness by providing them with the necessary tools to find and keep jobs. Held at the private Mandeville Canyon estate of Susan Harris and Hayward Kaiser, the 18th affair honored singer-songwriter-record producer Linda Perry; film and television producer Suzanne Todd; and Chrysalis clients Suzette and Antonio Donaldson. Face off, Season 11, Episode 7, Syfy - 2017

Face Off  is a reality television game show on SyFy where a group of prosthetic makeup artists compete against each other to create prostheses similar to those found in sci-fi and horror films. Suzanne sat on a panel of judges in an episode entitled Puppet Masters, where contestants create magical marionette characters.

Archer Film Festival - “Breaking into the Business” - with Jason Reitman and Hannah Minghella, Los angeles - 2016

Suzanne spoke on the “Breaking into the Business” panel at the Archer School for Girl’s film festival.

“I think I sent two hundred letters [for a job] and I got one interview, and the crazy thing is that I got that job, which was a good job, and it grew into more things. At that job, I got to do every one of those incredibly tedious things to do and I learned from them,” Todd said.
